Buellas: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Buellas belongs to the Vallée de la Veyle area, which includes rivers, wetlands, groves and forests, as well as floodplain meadows, and has been protected since 2012 by the prefectural decree protecting the “Bocage et prairies humides de la Basse Vallée de la Veyle” biotope.

The Parc botanique de la Teyssonnière covers an approximately 15-hectare site in Buellas surrounding the Château de la Teyssonnière.

More than 1,000 plant species grow in the Parc botanique de la Teyssonnière, including over 200 woodland trees and shrubs and more than 350 heathland plants. In the same park, a footbridge leads through the water-lily pond in the Zen garden.

Trails

Buellas has numerous footpaths that can be used for hiking. The Buellas trail network can also be used for mountain biking.

The signposted routes in Buellas are accessible and easy to walk thanks to trail markings and signage in accordance with the departmental charter.

Les Trois Rivières is a 13-kilometre circular hiking trail around Buellas with a stated duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Culture

The Église Saint-Martin de Buellas is a Romanesque building dating from the late 11th or early 12th century. The church in Buellas was listed as a historic monument by a decision dated 9 July 1926.

The Gare de Corgenon is a building dating from 1898 and is part of Buellas’s local heritage.
