Culture and townscape
The town is home to the municipal public “Victor Zaneboni” Fossil Museum. The townscape also includes eight village fountains and the water wheel of the old oil mill, which is still in operation today.
The Church of Saint-Denis is believed to date from the end of the 10th century. Its single-nave interior has a Romanesque barrel vault. At the church, an orientation board offers a panorama extending as far as the coast.
The Tour de Grimaldi, also known as the Tour de Grimaud, is a tower of Saracen type dating from the 12th or 13th century. From there, the panoramic view extends across the region’s mountain ranges from Sainte-Victoire to the Estérel.
The Le Lavoir washhouse was built in 1778 and was used by the village women until the 1960s. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity is located within Tourtour’s fortifications dating from the 17th century. The clock tower dates from the 19th century and is topped by a campanile.
Circular routes and panoramas
The departmental circular route “Terres, truffes et cascades” passes the entrance to Tourtour; 900 metres of the route run along roads. The Tourtour tourist office is located on the departmental circular route “Les balcons du Haut-Var”.
Another viewpoint is the garden of Château Raphélis, which offers a panoramic view.

The Fête de l’œuf takes place in Tourtour every Easter weekend.
