Culture and history
Notre-Dame-du-Bois is probably one of the earliest medieval churches in the Pourrières area. It is documented for the year 1065 under the name “sancte Maria a salto”. The Couvent des Minimes built onto Notre-Dame-du-Bois was completed in 1578.
Pain de Munition is a historic oppidum site in Pourrières. The remains of an oppidum built around 2,400 years ago have been preserved there.

Paths and townscape
The Sentier des vignerons de Pourrières is a hiking trail through the vineyards. The circular route “À la découverte du vieux village” is an easy, 45-minute trail covering 1.5 kilometres, starting in Pourrières. It leads through the authentic lanes of Pourrières and offers panoramic views of the Arc plain, the Sainte-Victoire massif, the Monts Auréliens and the Massif de l'Étoile.
Nature and landscape
La Palière runs through the municipal forest of Pourrières and follows paths and trails through the forest, with views of the surrounding massifs. The trail also passes the La Renardière Espace Naturel Sensible.
The Sentier de l'Aubanède leads to the ruins of the medieval Château de Roquefeuille. It passes through forest and garrigue and offers views of the Arc Valley and the distinctive Sainte-Victoire mountain.
The Pain de Munition mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Pourrières. The Beaumont mountain, the l'Olympe peak and the Mont Olympe peak are also located in the surrounding area.
Regional surroundings
The wider region surrounding Pourrières includes the Musée Granet, a museum, and the Atelier Cézanne, a museum. Aix-en-Provence (Convent), a historic site, is also located in the wider region. The Château de la Tour-d'Aigues, a historic site, is located there as well.
