Culture and History
The Eglise Saint-Laurent has been classified as a historic monument since 1982. At 20 Rue Gambetta, the Maison du Patrimoine is housed in an exceptional private mansion dating from the 17th century. In seven rooms, it presents the history of the cultural heritage of the Toulon Provence Méditerranée area. The exceptional quality of the decorations led to the building being classified as a historic monument.
The Musée Bottin-Layet was built around a section of Ollioules’ medieval town wall, which was discovered in situ during renovation work. The Musée de la Fleur d’Ollioules, with the Jardin des Heures, is located in the town centre on the Promenade de la Reppe and explores the history of flower cultivation in Ollioules from the mid-19th century to the present day. The collection of the Musée de la Clef et de la Serrure includes several hundred keys dating from the 1st century to the present day.
The Musée de l'Ecole Publique is located in the former Sainte-Geneviève school in Ollioules. It recreates a classroom and a former Salle d’asile, the forerunner of the nursery school.

The Ollioules astronomy club offers numerous events throughout the year for discovering planets and stars. The Observatoire Municipal du Gros Cerveau has a 160-seat amphitheatre and platforms for astronomical telescopes.
Ollioules has an approved family fishing trail. The climb up the hill to Ollioules’ medieval fortress offers impressive views.
Bus services between Toulon and Ollioules are operated by Réseau Mistral on routes 12 and 11B.
