Culture and History
In the medieval district of Le Parage, the Tour Sarrasine castle tower is a striking building: it was constructed in the 12th century and rises 19 metres above the town. The district can be accessed through four gates: the Porte du Réal, the Porte Milante, the Porte de l’Horloge and the Porte Haute.
The Chapelle Sainte-Roseline has been classified as a historic monument since 1980 and houses a large mosaic by Marc Chagall. The Chapelle Saint-Pierre-du-Parage was formerly a medieval church and is now used as an exhibition space.
The Bastide Sainte-Cécile is an example of 18th-century agro-industrial heritage, with a former silkworm farm and oil mills. Its complex includes almost 10 settling basins and three mills that were powered by a single waterwheel.
The Menhirs des Terriers archaeological site also reaches far back into the past. It comprises six smaller and three larger stelae and was visited by people between the beginning of the 4th millennium and the end of the 3rd millennium BC. The menhirs of Les Terriers provide evidence of cultural practices from the Late Prehistoric period in the municipality of Les Arcs-sur-Argens. The site can be reached via a walk several kilometres long through the hills.

The Maison des Vins Côtes de Provence in Les Arcs offers free wine tastings and oenology courses every week. The Cellier des Archers also offers wine tastings in Les Arcs-sur-Argens.

Nature and Leisure
The forest is crossed by the Argens and Aille rivers; their courses have shaped ridges and gorges there. A hiking trail in the southern part of the forest showcases the natural and archaeological diversity of Les Arcs-sur-Argens; the history of the region dates back to the Palaeolithic.
