Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Louis was built in 1691. It houses a bell cast in 1694 with cross decoration and a wooden statue of Saint Louis dating from the 17th to 18th century. The building known in the village as the "castle" is a fortified manor house acquired by the prior of La Celle Abbey in 1335.

At the request of the residents, the Archbishop of Aix decided in 1340 to build the Église de la Transfiguration. The documented network of oratories in La Roquebrussanne includes eight wayside shrines leading to the Chapelle Notre-Dame d’Inspiration, three to the Chapelle Saint-Louis and one to the presumed Chapelle Sainte-Madeleine.

The Ponts de la Latte consist of six bridges spanning the river as far as the former olive mill site. Today, some of these bridges are open to the public, while others remain private.

Nature

The "Des Molières vers les Orris" route is a moderately difficult 10.1 km circular hike lasting 3.5 hours. It passes through pine forests, holm oak forests and ruiniform limestone formations.

The Source des Orris is a former site of grazing and agriculture with an old rock shelter, a basin, a gravity-fed irrigation system and a small cave in the tuff. It is also a protected site and an LPO nature reserve, suitable for walks and birdwatching.

Notre-Dame d’Inspiration offers panoramic views over the Issole plain and the Agnis Plateau. The Grand Laoucien is a natural sinkhole with a diameter of approximately 130 metres and a depth of 43 metres.

The "À la découverte du village provençal" route is an easy 2.6 km walk lasting one hour.

The Pumptrack de La Roquebrussanne has a riding area of approximately 600 m². It is located in a partly peri-urban and partly landscaped setting suitable for relaxation and leisure activities.
