La Farlede: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In La Farlède stands the Chapelle de la Sainte Trinité, a Romanesque chapel built directly on rock, with a two-bay nave and a semicircular apse. It preserves numerous votive offerings, some of which are listed as protected historic monuments; the oldest may date back to the 16th century.

Culture

The Church of the Immaculate Conception was built between 1751 and 1755; it contains two paintings created by J.L. Panisse in 1785.

The heritage trail through La Farlède passes the Moulin Guiol, built in 1789, which has served olive growers for nine generations. La Farlède’s historic fountain washhouse was built in 1847 and relocated in 1920 and 1992. A preserved noria is located behind La Farlède’s town hall square.

Landscape

The Oliveraie du Partégal covers two hectares and comprises around 550 olive trees, some of which are more than 650 years old. The Moulin du Partégal is the oldest mill still in operation in La Farlède and has a large water wheel supplied by an aqueduct almost 200 metres long. The Oliveraie royale du Partegal can be visited like a sculpture garden.

Nature

The Parc de l’Abeille et de la Biodiversité offers three play areas focused on bees, including a double zip line; in spring, its apiary is intended to allow walkers and other interested visitors to observe the bees returning to the hives.
