Ginasservis lies on a promontory; the houses are grouped around the remains of a feudal castle. The area is considered to be characterised by arable farming, livestock farming, forests and hunting. In the centre of the village, an information board stands on the ruins of the former castle, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding area.

Culture
The restored parish church of Saint-Laurent has preserved its large Romanesque nave. A fortified Gallic oppidum is located at the summit of Montmajor. The Knights Hospitaller built a significant fortified castle in Ginasservis, of which ruins still remain today. The Chapelle Saint-Jean des Pénitents blancs stands a few dozen metres from Ginasservis's medieval fortification walls.
The Chapelle Saint-Jean des Pénitents blancs is first mentioned in the 14th century, around 1300, under the name “Sancte Marie de Ginacerviis”. Christian Philibert's film “Les 4 Saisons d’Espigoule” made Ginasservis well known; residents of the village took part as actors.
Landscape and Walking Tours
The Chapelle Saint-Damase offers a view of the village and Valavès. The many walking and hiking opportunities around Ginasservis include the named mountain-bike circuits “Drailles et Bancaus du Verdon”. The Ginasservis heritage trail conveys the history, cultural heritage and sights of the village with the help of numbered information boards.
Activities
The Centre Equestre de Bastidan offers introductory riding courses for children and adults. It also offers rides in Mont Major and on the plain and welcomes visitors all year round. Le moulin d’Espagne was established in 2004 as an educational farm for children from the region.
The Trans-Piades is a sporting mountain-bike rally. The mountain-bike routes specified for it, covering 40 and 60 kilometres, connect Ginasservis, Saint-Julien-le-Montagnier and Vinon-sur-Verdon via trails. Ginasservis also has the “Circuit 32” mountain-bike circuit, which is 5 kilometres long and classified as “very easy”.
Wildlife and Water
The Parc Animalier de Ginasservis is an animal refuge that takes in more than 250 rescued animals and birds from all continents. The park offers themed days as “petits fermiers” and “soigneur d'un jour”. The municipal swimming pool in Ginasservis offers swimming and aquagym classes both individually and in groups.
