Garéoult: Holiday Apartments and Houses
The Saint-Félix Chapel was built in 1885 by local residents in honour of the saint, who is credited with saving the village from cholera.

Culture
Garéoult Church houses a copy of Titian’s “The Entombment of Christ” and a Baroque altarpiece dedicated to Saint Eloi. The church was built and consecrated in 1048 under the patronage of Notre-Dame, also known as Sainte-Marie.
The Garéoult olive mill was built in 1732 on the ground floor of a residential building on Rue Aschieri, near the church. It was powered by horses until 1956; frost on the olive trees brought production to an end.
The Musée de la nécropole Louis Cauvin displays grave goods such as vessels, glassware and oil lamps, panels about the excavations, a fresco of the Garéoult plain, as well as a tiled tomb and a burial urn.
The Les Amis de Saint Félix association regularly organises tours of the Saint-Félix Chapel. It can only be visited by prior appointment with the association.
The exhibition on the Louis Cauvin necropolis is accessible during town hall opening hours. Guided tours of the Musée de la nécropole Louis Cauvin can be arranged on request through A.S.E.R.; this offer applies to groups of more than 15 people and costs €3 per person.
Nature
The “Dans le Bois de Cavaillon” route is a moderately difficult 5.4 km hike with a walking time of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes; it starts near the Bastide de Garbelle.
At the summit, the “Dans le Bois de Cavaillon” route offers a panorama stretching from the Massif des Maures in the south to the Alpine range in the north.
The Garéoult Bike Park on Boulevard de la Libération is open to the public, managed by UFOLEP, and offers VTT trails and modules for various skill levels across a wooded 4,000 m² site.
The Parc naturel du Vivier is a 18,732 m² recreational and walking area on the edge of a stream in Garéoult and has been open since 9 July 2022. It includes a playground, a picnic area, a vegetable garden, an orchard and animals.
Local Life
Garéoult’s wineries offer wine tastings and wine sales at their estates.
The Tuesday morning market offers regional products all year round, such as goat’s cheese, olive oil, and seasonal fruit and vegetables.
The communal village bread oven is still used twice a year: for the Saint-Jean baking event and for the Christmas one.
A procession takes place on the first Sunday of September, during which the bust of Saint Félix is carried from the church to the chapel.
