The significant ruins of Castellas Castle consist of six sections arranged around a courtyard. Two of them still have barrel vaults, while the others have preserved most of their standing walls. The ruins of Castellas fortified castle were protected as a historic monument by decree of 20 July 1966.

Culture and History
Of the three religious buildings in Forcalqueiret, the parish church of Saint-Martin is the only one that has survived; the other two have disappeared or exist only as remnants. Saint-Martin was built between 1865 and 1868, replacing an older church dating from 1742 that had become unstable and dangerous. A chapel behind Saint-Martin Church serves as the burial place of the last Count of Pontevès.
The washhouse is located on Rue Frédéric-Mistral in Forcalqueiret. It is a raised, covered concrete structure with three basins, a pyramid roof covered with tiles, and four masonry pillars, and probably dates from the 1920s or 1930s.
Nature and Trails
The Issole runs through Forcalqueiret, and there are walks along the river. The “At the Foot of Castellas” hike leads to the foot of the castle ruins, through an oak forest, and on the return journey along a balcony trail above the Issole valley.
Following a municipal order dated 20 November 2017, access to the Castellas ruins is currently prohibited due to the risk of falls and falling rocks.
Events
The large “Grand Marché aux plants” plant market takes place in Forcalqueiret every year on 1 May. Numerous growers offer trees, flowers, plants, flower bulbs, and other seeds there.
