Evenos lies at the gateway to the Parc naturel régional de la Sainte-Baume. This shared area encompasses deep forests, striking cliffs, remarkable biodiversity, hiking trails and themed routes. Évenos can be reached from Le Beausset on the Aubagne side and from Ollioules on the Toulon side via the DN8, which passes through the Gorges d’Ollioules.

Nature
Nèbre offers a 180-degree panoramic view stretching from the Rade de Toulon to La Ciotat, as well as views of the Gorges d’Ollioules. The village is situated on a basalt-rock promontory that originated from a very ancient volcano.
The Grès de Sainte-Anne consist of limestone hills and caves shaped over time. A hiking route through the heights of Croupatier offers a panoramic view between sky and sea over the Rade de Toulon and the medieval village of Évenos, situated on a rocky promontory.
One route leads across the Barres des Aiguilles and onwards to the Grottes de la Foux.
Culture and History
The hamlet of Broussan is described as an authentic village overlooked by Mont Caume, from which it is possible to reach the course of the Destel.
Nèbre is a medieval town with a manor house and the original village, built at an altitude of 362 metres.
The Château d’Evenos is a historic site on a volcanic summit. It was built on a long platform protected by fortification walls; the walls are made alternately of limestone and basalt stones. The Château d’Evenos is privately owned and cannot be visited.
Wine and Market
Évenos lies amid the vineyards of the Bandol appellation and is home to several owner-winemakers. Visitors can discover the wine of Domaine Imbert in its wine cellar or at other locations.
The weekly market offers a wide selection of food and other products. The aim is to offer as much locally produced goods as possible.
Festivals
The Fête de la Pivoine in Évenos is celebrated every year by local producers. At the Fête de la Pivoine, peonies are offered as cut flowers and plants, as well as in the form of perfumes and soaps.
