The old village of Cogolin has medieval origins; historical traces and remains can be seen in its lanes and on its buildings. The Tour de l’Horloge dates from the late 13th to early 14th century and was one of the entrances to the village.

Cogolin’s Provençal markets are held throughout the year on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. The markets in Cogolin offer handcrafted products such as honey, truffles, truffle oil, lavender and thyme.
