The Via Ferrata de Céüse may only be climbed upward; an approved helmet, climbing harness, and approved lanyards are required. It is a 40 m-high access route to the Plateau de Céüze. The approach to the Via Ferrata de Céüse from the car park at Les Guérins takes 1 hour and 15 minutes; the descent via the Plateau de Céüze takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.
History
The Sentier patrimonial forestier de Ceüse leads to the Grotte des Maquisards. The former Pépinière de Sigot path, restored by the ONF, leads to the Ancienne Pépinière de Sigot at an altitude of 1,550 m. The terraces at the Ancienne Pépinière de Sigot were created by forestry workers during the reforestation of the massif at the beginning of the 20th century.
