The parish of Saint-Antoine-de-Bouchet was founded around 1482; before that, it was under the authority of the mother church of Saint-Crépin.
The quarry and the spring at Eygliers made the construction of Mont-Dauphin fortress possible. The Plateau des Mille Vents, on which Mont-Dauphin was built, belonged to Eygliers at the time. The Chapelle des Combattants is located on the road to the hamlet of La Font in Eygliers, is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist and overlooks the Durance Valley. The frescoes were created by Masson Sam and date from 2001.
