At Château d'Aspremont, a restored arch is considered an underground entrance leading to the château. Together with the rocky spur and the view over the Buëch Valley, it is one of the architectural and landscape landmarks of the circular trail.

Near Aspremont, the Buëch is an alpine river with Mediterranean influences. Gravel banks and several intertwined river channels shape its course. The river is known for its trout and offers anglers suitable conditions for fishing.
