Saint-Antonin-sur-Bayon lies at the foot of the southern slope of Montagne Sainte-Victoire. The hills around the village are covered with red earth and garrigue vegetation; the small Bayon River flows below the village.

Culture
The village is home to a château with a small 12th-century chapel. Fragments of a Roman aqueduct are still visible along the D17 and below the municipality. The Dolmen de Maurély is considered a very rare type of monument in Provence. The Maison Sainte-Victoire includes a museum area.
History
A Celto-Ligurian oppidum, abandoned around the 10th century, overlooks Saint-Antonin-sur-Bayon from an elevation of 568 metres. On the Plateau de Cengle, only the farm and the remains of the chapel of the Sainte-Marie de Bayle commandery have survived. In autumn 2011, archaeological excavations uncovered the foundations of a medieval castrum.
