Nature
The geological stratum known as “Bédoulien” formed during the Mesozoic Era between 121 and 117 million years ago and contains marine fossils, especially ammonites. Several named elevations are also located around Roquefort-la-Bédoule: Sommet du Brigou is a mountain, La Candolle is a summit, Mont Cruvelier is another summit, and Montagne de la Canaille is a mountain.
The Chapelle Saint-André is a Romanesque architectural monument in the Fontblanche forest and can only be reached on foot.

Culture
The Chapelle Saint-André-de-Julhans in Roquefort-la-Bédoule is a protected historic monument built in the 12th century and officially listed on 18 June 1987. The ruins of the old castle are located on the site of a Celto-Ligurian oppidum; the castle was built in the 11th century and destroyed on Richelieu’s orders.
Château de Julhans is an architectural monument dating from the 17th century, where the wedding of Joseph Bonaparte and Julie Clary took place. The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste in the hamlet of Roquefort dates from 1734 and was built using reused materials from the old village.
