It runs from the Corniche de Rognac towards Gare Aix TGV and is considered an opportunity to discover the Massif de l'Arbois. The section also includes the Vallon de Valbacol and the so-called Marlène-Dietrich Theatre.

The Église Saint-Jacques is listed in Rognac as a notable element of the built heritage to be protected. Construction of the church was ordered on 14 June 1664; the plans were drawn up by the Aix-based architect Jaubert.

The Cercle Nautique de Rognac offers sailing courses for children and young people aged 7 to 17. The Cercle Nautique de Rognac welcomes individuals, families and groups of friends and offers activities involving catamarans, Lasers, kayaks, paddleboards, windsurfing and wingfoiling.

The Base nautique de Rognac offers sailing lessons for all levels, including on Optimists, Lasers, catamarans and windsurf boards.

The Château de la Plantade hosts numerous municipal events and serves as a venue for receptions, colloquia and other events.
