Nature
North of Port-de-Bouc lies the 288-hectare Forêt domaniale de Castillon, surrounded by four ponds. The forest area has parking spaces, information boards and a picnic area, and allows visitors to hike, run, explore the natural and cultural heritage, go horse riding, mountain biking and enjoy picnics with the family.
The 5.2-kilometre-long Sentier des oiseaux runs along the Étang du Pourra. There, visitors can observe grey herons, mallards, Eurasian coots, greater flamingos and shelducks.
The Cap d'Aiguade cape is located in the immediate vicinity of Port-de-Bouc. The beaches Plage des Laurons, Plage Napoléon and Plage de Sainte-Croix are also nearby.
Culture
Established in 2025 at the Centre d’arts Fernand Léger, the Micro-Folie de Port de Bouc is a digital museum that brings together several thousand masterpieces from numerous institutions and national museums. It also offers immersive 360-degree content in a virtual reality area, including documentaries and performances.
Since 2020, Les Nouveaux Ateliers have transformed Port-de-Bouc into a parcours for urban art that is unique in France.
The ancient site of Fouilles de Saint-Blaise is located in the vicinity of Port-de-Bouc. The wider regional area is also home to the Artothèque Istres-Ouest Provence museum, La Chapelle Notre-Dame-De-Vie castle and the historic site of Abbaye de Sauve-Réal.
Water
The “Renaissance” Port de Plaisance in Port-de-Bouc offers direct access to the sea, 530 berths, as well as a reception desk and surveillance staffed around the clock.
At the Base nautique on Plage de Bottaï, holidaymakers can try or practise windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. From 1 July to 25 August, the Base nautique is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
