The Musée du Vieux Lambesc houses archaeological collections, antique furniture, coats of arms and agricultural equipment. It focuses on the devastating earthquake of 1909, which destroyed part of the village, and conveys the history of a Provençal village and its medieval castle.

Culture and history
The Moulin à vent de Bertoire windmill dates back to the 18th century and is a remnant of Lambesc’s pre-industrial heritage. Following its restoration, its sails are turning again, offering visitors an impressive sight. At the same time, the mill serves as an educational illustration of the history of Lambesc and its mills, as well as of craft professions.
The Chapelle Saint-Michel was added to the supplementary list of Historic Monuments on 29 February 1988 and classified as a Historic Monument on 23 October 1989. It is opened on request.
A tour through Lambesc’s historic centre reveals several fountains, a stone washhouse dating from the 18th century and streets with a Provençal character. The Jacquemard Tower was built over one of the former gates in Lambesc’s town walls. In the 17th and 18th centuries, Lambesc was the seat of the general assemblies of the municipalities of Provence.

Things to do
A 30-kilometre cycling loop starts in Lambesc town centre and leads through the Chaîne des Côtes and its surroundings.
The Chaîne des Côtes offers hiking trails recorded by the F.F.R.P. that run through the Forest of Lambesc. The municipality of Lambesc is home to around a dozen rural wayside shrines, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle.
