The Parc de Saint-Pons lies on the western slope of the Sainte-Baume. Beeches, yews, hornbeams and maple trees grow along its paths. Among others, white-throated dippers, genets and Bonelli's eagles live there. The source of the Fauge never dries up; the valley is home to numerous fountains, springs and cascades. A breeding area for Bechstein's bats is known in the Saint-Pons Valley.

By car, the Parc de Saint-Pons can be reached either via the RD 2 from Plan-d'Aups or via the A50, taking the Aubagne exit, then continuing through Gémenos to the park. There is a large car park at the entrance to the Parc de Saint-Pons, along with a path suitable for people with reduced mobility and picnic areas.
Trails
The Sentier du Limbert is a 19.1-kilometre circular hike that begins and ends at Parking Vessiot in Gémenos. The Sentier du Limbert leads from the centre of Gémenos over Mont Cruvelier and through the Parc de Saint-Pons. Descending through the forest into the Saint-Pons Valley, the trail passes old mills, ice houses and paper mills hidden in the vegetation. Section B09 of the GR2013 is an 8.6-kilometre hiking route from Aubagne to Gémenos.
History and culture
Construction of Saint-Pons Abbey began in 1205. Dame Garcende founded it to accommodate a female Cistercian community. Saint-Pons Abbey played a central role in the development of the valley's hydraulic use.
The Paradou building was restored in 2014 and formerly housed a major paper mill, which operated from 1653 until the beginning of the 20th century. The Chapelle Saint-Jean de Garguier in Gémenos was listed as a historic monument by decree of 13 July 1927. The Granges d'Albertas are an extensive agricultural complex dating from the second half of the 17th century.

Events
The Fête de la Saint Jean includes a craft market, a market selling regional products and a small flea market.
