The Tour du mont Falourde allows visitors to reach the villages of Massoins and Tournefort. At marker 184, it meets the Tournefort–Bairols hiking trail.

Hiking and Landscapes
The former village of Tournefort is reached via a wide staircase. It is situated at an elevation of more than 600 m and offers views of the surrounding valleys and landforms.
The area around Fort du Pic Charvet can be explored on a hike starting from the village of Tournefort. In the 19th century, the fort was part of Nice’s defence system. Its main purpose was to control the intersection of the Tinée and Var valleys.
Culture and History
The Church of Saint Peter dates from the 17th century, while the Chapelle des Pénitents dates from the period between the 15th and 16th centuries.
From the former site of Tournefort, the Chapelle Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue stands out, together with the parish church, against an exceptional panorama. The Chapelle Saint-Antoine is located at the northern end of the ridge on which the former village of Tournefort stood.
The preserved walls of Tournefort Castle reveal the defensive strength of the site. To celebrate Saint Anthony of Padua, the saint’s statue is carried in procession by the villagers on 13 June.
