Culture
The Church of Saint-Michel is a Baroque church with a pink-orange façade. It has a Romanesque bell tower dating from the 15th century. The Chapel of Saint-Roch is one of the chapels located along old paths and in elevated areas. At the Photos-Rencontres of Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée, an exhibition about the treasures of the village church was announced.
The Fort de Frassinea offers a guided tour of its technical areas and barracks rooms. The tour includes themed exhibitions on the Maginot Line and the Second World War, as well as around one hundred collection items; it lasts approximately 35 minutes.
Hiking
The Circuit de Roure begins in Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée, follows the GR®5 towards Roure and returns to Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée along the Vionène. As a four-hour hike, it includes 630 metres of ascent and descent respectively; the recommended period is from March to December.
