Culture
The Jardin Ephrussi de Rothschild is classified as a historic monument. It includes themed gardens in the Spanish, Florentine, lapidary, Japanese, exotic, rose garden, English and Provençal styles. At the Jardin Ephrussi de Rothschild, self-guided or guided visits are possible by reservation.
The Saint-Hospice Chapel was built in the 11th century on the ruins of a sanctuary and has been listed as a historic monument since 1929. The Villa Santo Sospir has been listed as a historic monument since 2007. During a first stay, its white, bare walls were “tattooed”, as it was called there.
Nature
The peninsula has five public beaches. The underwater trail begins at Plage des Fossettes beach and is explored by swimming at the surface with a mask, snorkel and fins.
The underwater trail is a marked 200-metre course in water ranging from 0 to 3 metres deep. It passes through sandy and rocky seabeds as well as Posidonia seagrass meadows.
Walking Trails
The interpretation trail has six observation stations. The promenade is fully paved, has no stairs and is accessible to pushchairs and people with reduced mobility.
