The Parc Naturel Départemental du Sinodon is a protected, sensitive natural area in Roquefort-les-Pins that is accessible to everyone subject to conservation regulations. Set in hilly terrain, it combines forest and semi-open habitats with holm oak, Aleppo pine and maritime pine forests, garrigue, riparian woodland and clearings. The park also offers three fitness trails as well as a forest and geological discovery trail.

Culture

Notre-Dame de Canlache is a parish church built in 1690 on pagan ruins. It houses works by the Hungarian painter Anton Prinner as well as a Stations of the Cross designed by Émile Riolet.

The chapel dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus led to numerous pilgrimages and gradually developed into a shrine known as « Petit Montmartre ».

The Micro-Folie of Roquefort-les-Pins is a digital museum with FabLabs, virtual reality stations and performance spaces. It presents high-resolution digital artworks on screens and interactive tablets; cultural mediators organise activities with the public there.

The Pôle Image Michel-Audiard houses the municipal cinema « Le Pavillon Bleu », with two screening rooms. It also provides space for conferences, concerts and performances, as well as live broadcasts of operas, ballets, concerts and theatre.

The Le Bon Accueil cultural centre houses the media library and an exhibition hall where works by recognised and local artists are displayed.

Trails and activities

Roquefort-les-Pins has seven hiking trails, including the Via Aurélia, a section of the Way of St James. The municipality has 53 kilometres of trails; at the same time, it promotes the enhancement of the trails and the expansion of cycle paths.

CIRQUEN RIVIERA offers weekly circus classes for all levels, including juggling, balance techniques and acrobatics.

Markets

The Provençal market takes place on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. at La Halle on Place du Marché and also includes food stalls. The Notre-Dame market takes place on Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. and offers local vegetables, Italian charcuterie and Italian cheeses.

Transport

Envibus route 26 connects Roquefort-les-Pins with Villeneuve-Loubet and the Sophia Antipolis technology park. ZOU routes 600–650 connect Roquefort-les-Pins with Grasse or Nice and serve the SNCF railway station in Cagnes-sur-Mer as well as Nice Côte d’Azur Airport.
