The old village of Peillon is a fortified medieval settlement on a rocky spur. The Church of the Transfiguration incorporates the remains of a Romanesque church dating from the 12th century.

Culture and History
The Chapel of the White Penitents, also known as the Chapelle Notre-Dame des sept Douleurs, houses frescoes by Giovanni Canavesio dating from the 15th century. In 2000, it was classified as a historic monument.
The Chapel of Saint Roch dates from 1580 and was restored in 2004. A fountain dating from 1800 stands on Place Arnulf; it was classified as a historic monument in 1941.
The Flaminius Raiberti Railway Museum in Sainte-Thècle presents the history of the PLM railway network, particularly the construction of the single-track Nice–Cuneo line, through permanent exhibitions.
Nature and Trails
There are numerous walking and hiking trails around Peillon, allowing visitors to discover the village from all sides. Developed climbing areas offer views of the village of Peillon.
The 11-kilometre Lourquière circular trail starts and ends at Grave-de-Peille station. On leaving Peillon, its return route follows a footpath that offers an exceptional view of the hilltop village.
Surroundings
Peillon-Sainte-Thècle offers a mountain-biking circuit. A roughly one-hour walk along the road or the municipal path connects Peillon-Sainte-Thècle with the village.
