Plage Mala is a cove surrounded by rocks, with fine sand and small, rounded pebbles. It can be reached either via the coastal path or via the Mala staircase next to the Eden Residence. The Sentier du littoral de Cap d'Ail runs from Plage Mala to Plage Marquet at the entrance to the Principality of Monaco and is 3.6 kilometres long. Culture

Villa Les Camélias is a Belle Époque building whose garden level is dedicated to the history of Cap-d'Ail. Objects and numerous photographs from the late 19th century through the 1950s depict the everyday life, leisure activities and celebrations of the residents of Cap-d'Ail.

Villa Mirasol was built around 1908 for the writer Gabrielle Reval. It has a symmetrical classical layout, a terrace enclosed by a balustrade and a loggia with Doric columns. Villa Primavera was commissioned by Alphonse Lenoir; its exterior combines geometrically articulated building volumes, a flat roof, projecting cornices and a loggia. It also bears the French heritage designation “Patrimoine XXe”, which was awarded on 15 March 2007.

The parish church of Notre-Dame-du-Cap-Fleuri was built in 1908 by the architect Paul Chevalier. Its sculptures were created by Eugène Leguay, and the church was consecrated on 17 April 1910. The Théâtre de plein air Jean Cocteau is still in operation and continues to fulfil its original function within the Centre Méditerranéen d'Études Françaises; the Centre has become an international centre.

Château des Terrasses was built around 1890 for the British banker William Mendel. Numerous performances and exhibitions take place there today.

Nature

Parc Sacha Guitry contains Mediterranean trees as well as succulents and cacti. More than fifty new plant species have been introduced in Jardin des Douaniers; the garden serves both ecological and educational purposes.

Pointe des Douaniers is an extinct volcano. Andesite rocks from the Tertiary period, dating from 35 to 20 million years ago and varying in size and colour, can be seen there.
