Culture

In 1622, the new municipality of Bendejun had a chapel built as a parish church; today it is known as Gleia Vielha. Due to its small size and poor condition, Gleia Vielha was replaced by a new parish church, which was consecrated in 1868.

The ruins of the Chapelle San Bénédé are located in Bendejun. The village church of Saint-Benoît in Bendejun dates back to the 17th century. According to Abbé Bonifacy, the Chapelle Saint-Joseph in the La Tour district of Bendejun was founded by Count Rosso in a deed dated 4 December 1651.

A Capella is a cooperatively organized grocery store in Bendejun. In summer, Bendejun hosts evenings with music, grilled food, and socca.
