Saint-Pons: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Église Saint-Pons was built in the 12th century and is one of the oldest Romanesque churches in the valley. It houses remarkable painted decorations from the 14th century; in 1912, it was classified as a Monument historique.

Every year in August, the Fête de la moisson takes place in Saint-Pons. It showcases harvesting traditions, crafts and local traditions. As part of the festival, bread is baked in the communal oven and then sold.

The Crête des Cognetons route follows the ridge before descending to the Riou Bourdoux and the du Tréou forestry house. The Sentier de découverte du Riou Bourdoux provides insights into the work of the RTM service as well as the history of the Torrent du Riou Bourdoux.

La Bérarde is a mountain biking trail in the heights above Saint-Pons with a challenging descent. The trail runs through the heights of La Frache (Saint-Pons) and along the Torrent de la Bérarde.

The Aérodrome de Saint-Pons Barcelonnette is the second-highest airfield in France. At the Aérodrome de Saint-Pons, the Centre de vol à voile de l’Ubaye offers gliding and aircraft flights. Flights by aircraft, glider and ULM are also available from the Aérodrome de Saint-Pons Barcelonnette.

Jungle Parc offers three adventure courses of varying difficulty, each with 45 stations, as well as a 150-metre zip line in a three-hectare forest. Jungle Carte au trésor is a GPS treasure hunt with historical documents that lasts between half a day and a full day, depending on the level, and takes place at Les Terres Neuves in Saint-Pons.
