The Base nautique du Touron is located in the Bay of Touron on the shores of Lac de Castillon. Lac de Castillon is an artificial reservoir created in 1948 during the construction of the dam; it is approximately 10 km long and around 100 m deep.

The route to the Belvédère du Pidanoux lies within the protected natural area of the Parc naturel régional du Verdon and has been included in the departmental hiking plan of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
The Parcours patrimonial is an easy, approximately 0.83 km-long circular walking route that is open daily year-round, free to access and takes about an hour.
Culture and History
The Chapelle Notre-Dame was formerly the village church and dates in its present form from the 17th century; a cemetery is located nearby.
The communal bread oven of Saint-Julien-du-Verdon dates from 1905 and is used again every year at Pentecost, during the patron saint's festival and at other festive events.
The Parcours patrimonial includes a traditionally restored plum drying shed from the second half of the 19th century, described as the last testimony to the importance of local plum cultivation.
Today's Église Saint-Roch was built at the end of the 19th century on the site of a shrine dedicated to Saint Roch.
In the 5th century, monks from Lérins Abbey built a small priory on the summit of the present-day village of Saint-Julien-du-Verdon.
