History and Village
About 1 km from Niozelles, on the road to Forcalquier, are the ruins of the first medieval village and a 13th-century keep.
The 16th-century Château de Niozelles can be visited when exploring the village; it features a 16th-century fireplace decorated with plaster stucco. The Église Saint-Étienne in Niozelles dates from the 14th century; from 1681 onwards, alterations were made to its nave and façade.
