The Val d’Allos–La Foux ski area is connected to Pra Loup as part of the Espace Lumière ski area. It has 17 lifts serving 43 ski runs: 5 green, 21 blue, 14 red and 3 black runs. The vertical drop is 800 metres.

A population of woolly berardia (Berardia lanuginosa) is monitored every year in the La Foux d’Allos ski area. Woolly berardia is nationally protected and endemic to the Southern Alps.

The Balade Aux Sources du Verdon hiking route is 3.2 kilometres long, includes 185 metres of ascent and is listed as taking 120 minutes.

The Sources du Verdon mountain bike route offers a viewpoint of the Verdon springs and the valley of the same name along the way. It is a family-friendly mountain loop with a moderate elevation gain.

Culture

The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste is located at the entrance to the hamlet of La Foux. It has a single-nave layout with three bays beneath a semicircular barrel vault and was probably built in the 17th century.

Leisure and Recreation

Verdon Express features a 665-metre-long descent with an average gradient of 12 percent within a 995-metre-long loop. The summer and winter luge track, which can be used year-round, is located near the Marin Pascal chairlift at the foot of the Col d’Allos.

Getting There

Public transport from Nice or Digne-les-Bains involves taking a ZOU train operated by the Chemins de fer de Provence, followed by a ZOU bus to Val d’Allos.
