Anyone who has chosen Enchastrayes as their holiday destination will want to rent a holiday apartment.

Activities

The Sauze Super Line zip line is 2,050 metres long in total and is divided into two sections with an intermediate platform.

The Sauze Super Line starts at the top of the Brec chairlift and ends in the Le Sauze 1700 ski area.

The Tour des Brecs is listed as a hiking route around Le Sauze. For cycling, the focus is on the Le Sauze Bike Park, with nine downhill trails and four different difficulty levels.

Culture

The Saint-Roch Chapel in Le Sauze, dedicated to Saint Roch, was recently renovated. Through the wrought-iron grille, visitors can view the antique furnishings and fully restored statues from outside.

The Fête du pain, held every summer in Enchastrayes, preserves traditional techniques and revives flavours from the past.

At the Fête du pain, loaves of bread and pizzas are baked in the communal oven. The communal bread ovens of Enchastrayes formerly served the respective hamlets as communal baking ovens.

Landscape

La Conche is considered a typical mountain hamlet with chalets, farm buildings and a chapel.

A spectacular view of the sunset over the valley can be enjoyed from a viewpoint.

Getting There

The regional Zou buses reach Le Sauze via Barcelonnette: route 68 departs from Marseille, while route 535 departs from Gap.
