Another signposted trail, the Circuit du Roy, leads through the hamlet of Moulin au Roy. The Gué de la Reine – Circuit n°31 is a 7-kilometre circular hiking route that starts and ends in Mairé and offers views of the Creuse Valley. An accompanying leaflet for the Circuit du bourg is available on the town hall square or at the town hall.

Nature

Mairé is home to a great variety of wild orchids. A municipal trail in Mairé is dedicated to wild orchids. The Mieux Vivre à Mairé association has published a leaflet, with photographs, about orchid species, their life cycle and their protection.

Culture

The Saint-Blaise celebration has been a tradition in Mairé since 1947. The Circuit du Gué de la Reine includes two houses dating from the 15th and 16th centuries as points of interest.

Cycling

The De la Forêt de la Groie aux bords de la Luire cycling route offers views of the Creuse Valley on arrival in Mairé.
