Cycling
The “Les cimes du Montmorélien” cycling tour starts in the centre of Yviers and leads from there to the Logis de la Tour, which belonged to the Talleyrand-Périgord family. The “Base VTT Sud-Charente – Circuit VTT no. 10” mountain bike route also starts in the centre of Yviers. It is classified as a black route with a “very difficult” level of difficulty and leads across the slopes of Montmorélien.
The “Base VTT Sud-Charente – Circuit VTT no. 9” mountain bike route starts in Yviers and runs along winding dirt roads. After starting in Yviers, it follows the Argentonne stream and crosses the Vallée de la Tude, an area designated as a Natura 2000 site.
Section 29 of the Tour Charente VTT connects Yviers and Saint-Avit. It passes a body of water bordered by a singletrack before climbing steeply.

Culture
The parish church of Notre-Dame in Yviers is Romanesque and dates back to the 12th century. Its portal is decorated with delicate Renaissance sculptures.
