The Prieuré Saint-Jean Baptiste was founded in 1081 by the Cluniac order. The former priory complex contains 13th-century wall paintings that are classified as historic monuments. By arrangement, guided tours with commentary are offered there by the owner or a volunteer member of the association.

Nature
The “Ronsenac” ZNIEFF comprises gentle limestone slopes from the Upper Cretaceous, with xerothermic and meso-xerophilous dry grasslands, juniper scrub and pine stands. The area is of considerable botanical interest; more than ten characteristic plant species have recently been observed on the site. Under the Habitats Directive, the “Ronsenac” ZNIEFF is classified as an SAC, SCI or pSCI site.
History
The present-day parish church is only the nave of the former 12th-century priory church. The Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste is permanently accessible.
The Fontaine légendaire is located at the source of the Ronsenac watercourse, which gave the village its name. It is open daily all year round and free to access. For a long time, it was used as a washhouse.
