The present-day Église Saint-Pierre in Pleuville is a neo-Romanesque building that replaced a dilapidated 12th-century church.
Culture and History
The Église Saint-Pierre has stained-glass windows made in the renowned French glassmaking centres of Tours and Toulouse. Inside, the capitals are decorated with floral and animal motifs; the round-arch arcades and their columns are also painted.
The Château de Gorce is partially listed as a historic monument; the listing took place on 14 October 2002. The protected parts include the entrance châtelet, including its access grounds, the façades and roofs of the residential wing, including the ruined tower, as well as the façades and roofs of both wings of the outbuildings.

Among the smaller historic and rural details of the village is the Fontaine in Pleuville, a small masonry structure with a pump signed “Bodin 1417”. The water from the Fontaine at the washhouse flows through a single-arch passage.

Pleuville is one of the three municipalities covered by the 3,359-hectare Natura 2000 site “Région de Pressac, Étang de Combourg”.
The Sentier de l'Orangerie in Pleuville is designated for hiking, Nordic walking, running and VTC cycling. It is connected to the Château de Gorce, whose grounds include the orangery.
