Culture
The Église Saint-Pierre was originally built in the Romanesque style and altered during the Gothic period by the addition of further chapels.
The Château de Fleurac stands on a rocky outcrop on the left bank of the Charente; it can be visited by prior arrangement with the owners.
The Château de la Foucaudie is located in the centre of Nersac and became Nersac's town hall in 1952. Its east façade includes an 18th-century curtain wall framed by two round towers, which were built at the end of the 17th century.
The Moulin de Fleurac is located in the village of Fleurac in Nersac. It was purchased by the General Council of the Charente département in 1983 and converted into a paper museum.
Paths
The Coulée Verte is a hiking and cycling route along the Charente River that leads to Nersac. The Nersac section continues along the left bank to the Pont de la Meure for 3.5 kilometres; part of the route is rather unpaved or suitable for more challenging terrain.
Nature
The Coulée Verte passes through wet meadows and riverside woodland, which provide habitats for birds, amphibians, insects and small mammals.
The ÃŽles de Fleurac are connected by footpaths and wooden footbridges, allowing walkers to move between the riverbanks from Linars to Nersac. At the site of the Moulin de Fleurac in Nersac, a footbridge connects the riverbank at the mill with the ÃŽles de Fleurac and is publicly accessible for walks.
