History and Culture
The present-day Eglise Saint Aignan was created by merging two churches that stood immediately next to each other and is dedicated to Saint Aignan. It contains a fresco, statues and relics. The Eglise Saint Aignan is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
La Terne is also part of the history of the town: in Gallo-Roman times, La Terne was an important town with a theatre and a river port.
