Lignières-Sonneville: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

History

The Château de Lignières-Sonneville was rebuilt at the beginning of the 17th century on the site of a medieval building that had fallen into disrepair. Its façades and roofs are classified as historic monuments; two fireplaces on the first floor are listed.

The Château de Lignières-Sonneville is accessed via a bridge spanning the river that feeds the moats. The Notre-Dame-de-Lignières church also dates back a long way: it was built at the end of the 12th century, restored several times, particularly in the 15th century, and is classified as a French historic monument.
