Courcôme: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Église Notre-Dame de Courcôme is a Romanesque church with the ground plan of a Latin cross. Above the crossing is a dome on squinches, surmounted by a bell tower. Its capitals depict figures, long-legged animals and angels, as well as foliage and intertwined animals.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Antoine stands in the cemetery of Courcôme. Since its foundation towards the end of the Middle Ages, it appears to have been intended for burials. The building is a simple rectangle measuring 11 m × 7 m and has very thick walls designed to support a vault. Its sculptures are apparently the work of a village artist and authentic examples of folk art.
