At the Église Saint-Sulpice, the nave and bell tower have been protected as historic monuments since 1913. Following later damage and alterations, only the bell-tower bay and the base of the small stair turret remain in their original form.

History
The present-day Temple de Saint-Sulpice-de-Royan was built in 1855, replacing an earlier building from 1818. Its floor plan is octagonal, and it was designed in the Neo-Romanesque style.
The Temple protestant, including its interior furnishings, has been protected as a historic monument by a decree dated 23 September 1998. It retains its original interior furnishings, including benches, a pulpit and a communion table. The building is located opposite Saint-Sulpice-de-Royan town hall.
Places
The Jardin médiéval was created opposite the church in 2006 and comprises eight beds with edible, medicinal, aromatic, textile and dye plants.
The fountain at the Lavoir de Fontbedeau is believed to date from the Gallo-Roman period; some of the stone slabs still present are said to be original. The Fontaine de Fondbedeau is one of the landscapes in Saint-Sulpice-de-Royan that visitors can admire.
Events
At the Festival des Vieilles Forges, people dance every Friday evening in July and August.
