Saint-Germain-de-Vibrac: Holiday apartments and houses

Culture and history

The Église Saint-Germain contains 14th-century frescoes depicting scenes from the childhood cycle. Since 5 December 2000, the church has been listed as a historic monument.

The protected furnishings include stone baptismal fonts from the 18th century, as well as altars and retables made of painted wood from the 19th century.

Landscape and mills

Two former windmills of Chaillot stand in Saint-Germain-de-Vibrac. The Moulins de Chaillot stand on the 86-metre-high hill “aux sept moulins”. They feature two types of sails: with or without Cottret or Longerons.

Trail and surroundings

The Circuit pédestre N°18 – “Le moulin de Chaillot” is a 10.4 km circular hiking trail that starts at the Place de l'Église. It offers panoramic views of the vineyards and leads towards the “Fond Noyer” spring.

Fishing is possible several times a year at the Étang de St Germain de Vibrac. Above the Seugne plain, there is an orientation table in Saint-Germain-de-Vibrac.
