A chapel transferred to the Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Jean in 1026 is believed to be the origin of today’s Saint-Denis church. Today, the church forms a rectangle with a tall tower on its southern side. The bell tower of Saint-Denis-du-Pin extends over four levels and is known locally as “l’Aiguille du Pin”.
