Rouffignac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Culture
The Église Saint Christophe has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments since 27 February 1925. Despite damage, it has preserved distinctly pronounced Romanesque features. It has an octagonal bell tower, the upper part of which is Gothic. Inside, there are sculptural representations of Adam and Eve as well as Daniel in the lions’ den.
The Église Saint-Martin de Petit-Niort is a historic site in the vicinity of Rouffignac. In the wider surrounding region, the Abbaye de l'Isle is a historic site and the Église Saint-Mathias de Barbezieux is a church.
The picnic area in Rouffignac is located at the end of the boules court, which is near the church. It is open year-round and free to access. A room near the picnic area has toilets and a water connection.
Anyone considering Rouffignac as a travel destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment.
