Pessines: holiday apartments and holiday homes
Culture and history
Pessines can be discovered through specific places and activities. The Logis du Fief Gallet dates from the second half of the 17th century and is listed as a historic monument; the listing was made by a decree dated 4 October 1994. The Fief Gallet complex is arranged around a courtyard surrounded by outbuildings. The campanile of a former chapel has been preserved on the site. On the courtyard side, the logis has a five-bay façade with windows crowned by gables decorated with masks. Inside, fireplaces from the 17th and 18th centuries have been preserved. The Logis du Fief Gallet is privately owned.
The Église Saint-Gilles de Pessines is also part of the local history. It is located at 17 Rue de Saint Gilles, 17810 Pessines.
