Culture and History

The former Prieuré Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption was built in the 12th century. The western part of the nave and the entrance portal are all that remain of the original priory.

Market and Connections

Lagord's traditional market takes place on Friday mornings between the Square des Echassiers and the Oiseaux de Mer shopping centre, offering the municipality's residents and visitors groceries every week.

Buses on the Illico 3 route run every 10 minutes and connect La Rochelle city centre with Plage des Minimes.
