Construction of the present-day Église Saint-Séverin at the harbour began in 1707 and was completed in 1721. It has an extended nave, a western façade with a rose window and a Romanesque Revival style.

The restored Minoterie des Monards has retained a large part of its machinery and is a testament to the area’s industrial heritage. At the Atelier des Remparts in Saint-Seurin-d’Uzet, visitors can meet artists, talk to them and discover their work.

History

Saint-Seurin-d’Uzet has historical ties to Gironde caviar. The first caviar produced in France was created in the 1920s thanks to Maison Prunier.
