The Église Notre-Dame de Boresse is located in the Boresse district of the municipality of Boresse-et-Martron. Its main construction phase dates from the 12th century; the church was first mentioned in 1098. Around 1443, it was fortified with royal approval. The building consists of a single-nave church, a square bell tower and a chancel slightly offset to the north.
The façade of the Église Notre-Dame de Boresse was listed as a historic monument by decree of 22 August 1949. The other unprotected parts of the church, as well as the sacristy and the adjoining building, were listed by decree of 5 December 2000.

Culture
Another distinctive church building is the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Boresse-et-Martron. It has a massive, rustic and archaic appearance. It was repaired in 1884 and 1890 as part of a major campaign. A restoration campaign in 1999 consolidated the façade and several severely damaged buttresses. Inside, the 18th-century oil painting Saint-Pierre au coq is displayed in a solid wooden frame.
The Temple de Boresse is located on the Route de Chevanceaux in Boresse-et-Martron. The aquatic and semi-aquatic habitats of the Landes du Terrier des Plantes et Bois Moreau protected area provide suitable conditions for the European pond turtle. In the municipality of Boresse-et-Martron, 3% of the area is covered by a Natura 2000 site, a Site of Community Importance.
