Nature

History

The second fountain on the “Circuit des Fontaines – PR 33” circular trail was often used as a water source and washing place. One of the fountains along this circular trail in Archingeay is said to have been known to the Romans as a thermal spring.
Bronze coins from the 4th century, attributed to Emperor Constantine, were found at a thermal spring on the “Circuit des Fontaines – PR 33” circular trail that is said to have been known to the Romans.
